I am proud of the efforts of this team, that has recovered $70M in benefits due from the Veterans Administration(VA) for fellow veterans.

Team AMVETS’ Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) are trained and accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans throughout the State of California. When you need help applying for veterans benefits, call a Team AMVETS Veterans Service Officer (VSO). Our VSOs have your best interest in mind and exist to help you get the benefits you deserve. To date, they have retrieved over $70M in benefits for California veterans!
VSOs are located throughout California and assist veterans and their families in many ways, including:
- Answering questions, advising and educating individuals and groups on what benefits are available from federal, state, county, and local resources
- Assisting eligible persons in filing the necessary claims and
- Representing individuals and presenting claims in VA hearings
